Speaker KC Becker, Representative Edie Hooton, and myself hosted a virtual town hall on May 15th at 3:30PM.
We were joined by President & CEO of Boulder Chamber John Tayer, Boulder County Public Health COVID-19 Community Mitigation Liaison Lane Drager, and Boulder County Public Health COVID-19 Business Liaison Zac Swank.
We discussed supporting health and the economy as Boulder County begins to “re-open.” We also took questions ahead of time, so that our panelists have every opportunity to provide a thorough response.

We were joined by Boulder County’s Housing and Human Services Director Frank Alexander, Chris Nelson from Attention Homes, Julie Van Domelen from Emergency Family Assistance Association, and Isabel McDevitt from Boulder Bridge House. The panelists provided an overview of resources available to those struggling to meet housing needs and answered questions.

Join me, New Era Colorado, AFT Colorado, and the Student Borrower Protection Center in a virtual town hall this Thursday, April 9th from 3-4pm. During the townhall, I will discuss the 2020 legislative session and the local impact the student loan crisis is having in Colorado. Additionally, the Student Borrower Protection Center will provide information and answer questions about how to navigate student debt during the COVID-19 pandemic.
